How wonderful is it that in the English language we can use the same word to describe both the here and now, and to describe a gift.

The present is a gift. And what’s so cool about gifting affirmations, is that you are actually gifting a present of presence.

(I’ll try not to turn this into a Dr. Suess tongue twister😜).

When we are using affirmations, we are practicing mindfulness and presence. We are actively choosing to notice our thoughts and to observe what we know to be true in ourselves, and nurture ourselves with this mindfulness.
