We have so many things to say about this past weekend and so many thank-yous to share.

First and foremost, thank you to our incredible trip leaders.

To Corrine and Stan — who spent countless hours pre-tripping routes, clearing trails, working in the kitchen, and doing a hundred behind-the-scenes tasks that helped make this weekend happen. Thank you to the ends of time. You have no idea how much we appreciate your support, dedication, and stoke.

To Andrea — thank you for setting us up with communications and for bringing your calm, capable, badass energy for the third year in a row. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

To Jess — thank you for coming back for a third year, always willing to run back and forth, lend support to hikers who need it, and bring your wonderfully wild energy to the festival. We appreciate you so much.

To Nici and Joel — thank you for making the trek all the way from Penticton to help with the hard hike. Rain, fog, bugs, and all, you still came back smiling. For offering to help in any way needed. Thank you from all of us.

To Kayla — thank you for coming to take photos, hike, and then being asked at the last minute if you’d guide, only to immediately reply, “Absolutely, I’m here to help with anything.” Thank you for being exactly who you are.

And of course, there are so many people who come together to make this event happen. A special thank you to Meg’s mom and Maureen for being our Tin Whistle beer mules and making the journey all the way up to support us for the third year in a row!

There are many more thoughts, words, stories, thank you and beautiful photos to come. It’s honestly hard to put into words the gratitude we feel after a weekend like this.

Thank you to everyone who hiked, volunteered, led, supported, cheered us on, and helped create the magic that is the Little Hiking Festival.

PINK LEADS THE WAY!

You’ll see these bad boys amongst a variety of other pink flagging guiding you through the routes for the LHF 2026.

These flags are to help you along your way- that doesn’t mean to say we aren’t going to use those safe hiking practices….

Stay in a group of four or more, our furry friends are out and about! 🧸

Maintain visual or vocal contact with the main group when on Saturday’s Adventures!! We’re here for the community!!!

See you on the trails 🌲✌️
