Earth Month 🌍 is especially close to our hearts. While we strive to celebrate sustainability every day by using business as a force for good, this time of year feels like the perfect opportunity to highlight the incredible impact you have helped create by being part of our community.

Together, Green Circle members have kept an amazing 1,147,449 lbs of waste out of landfills and waterways. Of that, nearly 200 lbs per year comes from our collective efforts alone. To put that into perspective—that’s equivalent to almost 2,000 acres of carbon being sequestered by forests in just one year.

And the impact goes even further:
• The aluminum foil you return is melted down and transformed into new materials like aluminum sheets and bars, which are then reused in products such as car parts and bicycles.
• Hair clippings are repurposed into booms that help clean up oil spills in our waterways and oceans.
• Excess hair color is separated into oil and water—the water is purified and returned safely to the system, while the oil is repurposed into fuel.

These are real, tangible efforts —and they’re only possible because of you.
