NOW HIRING | Drilling Superintendent
We're seeking an experienced Drilling Superintendent to lead the safe and efficient ex*****on of offshore well operations.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced drilling professional with extensive offshore expertise in well intervention, drilling, and completions. Working closely with internal teams and contractors, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations while supporting Operational Excellence.

Location: St. John's, NL with travel offshore and to a MODU in Norway during the project startup phase
Contract: Approximately 1 year with potential for extension
Schedule: Initially office-based with travel to Norway, transitioning to a 28/28 rotational schedule based in St. John's. Frequent offshore travel is required.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the safe ex*****on of offshore well operations in accordance with Operational Excellence principles
• Manage drilling, well intervention, and workover activities to achieve project objectives
• Deliver operations safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Lead wellsite operations and provide field leadership through regular offshore visits
• Manage contractors, monitor KPIs, and resolve performance issues
• Apply SIMOPS procedures while coordinating activities alongside producing assets
• Lead offshore incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Support emergency response planning and exercises
• Work collaboratively with engineering, marine, aviation, EH&S, SCM, Finance, and production teams
• Identify opportunities to implement cost-effective technologies and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience
• 15+ years of experience in drilling, completions, and well intervention activities
• Minimum 3 years of offshore drilling and completions experience
• Extensive experience with harsh environment, mid-water MODU operations
• Previous experience supporting MODU intake scopes
• Strong knowledge of drilling engineering, emergency response, and applicable legislation
• CAPP required regulatory training
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of geophysical, geological, and reservoir engineering considerations

📄 Contract: May 2026 – May 2027 (potential extension to 2028)�
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week

🔧 What you’ll be doing
• Support cost tracking, commitments, and forecasting �
• Assist in development and maintenance of incurred cost forecasts (ICF)�
• Analyze cost variances, trends, and root causes�
• Support change management, including Project Change Notices (PCNs)�
• Maintain project change logs and support budget control processes�
• Prepare and deliver project cost reports and status updates �
• Assist with contingency planning and cost closeout activities�
• Collaborate with project teams across engineering, construction, and finance �
• Identify risks and deviations from budget and support mitigation planning

🎓 What you bring
• 2–6 years of experience in Project Controls, cost, or finance�
• Post-secondary education (degree, diploma, or equivalent)�
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail�
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power BI considered an asset) �
• Understanding of project controls concepts and cost management processes�
• Experience in oil & gas or EPC environments considered an asset�
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

We’re seeking an experienced EHS Environment / Chemical Advisor to support EH&S and Wells Project Teams in developing key documentation for an upcoming offshore campaign. This role is ideal for someone passionate about environmental stewardship and chemical risk management in offshore environments.

📄 Contract: May 2026 – February 2027�
📍 Location: St. John’s, NL (with offshore project context)

This is a junior position, 0-2 years experience. No other certificates needed.

🔧 What you’ll be doing
• Support EH&S and Wells teams in developing project documentation �
• Provide guidance on chemical selection to minimize risk to personnel and the environment �
• Evaluate and screen chemicals for offshore use�
• Support environmental and regulatory reporting requirements �
• Contribute to safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible project ex*****on

🎓 What you bring
• Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field�
• Knowledge of environmental toxicity, WHMIS 2015, and GHS �
• Experience in offshore or marine environments�
• Understanding of environmental considerations in oil & gas operations�
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively

Knowledge of the C-NLOER Offshore Chemical Selection Guidelines is a definite asset.
