This piece has officially toured Ontario! 🌸 started in Bancroft from a photo of a neighbour’s Windflowers (Canada anemones🇨🇦) in Barrhaven, and finished at Kingston ArtFest. I wanted to experiment with a gentler, more luminescent palette than my usual bold tones, and I’m so happy with how it glows, thanks to my M’Chigeeng First Nation watercolours. Beam Paints.

🌲 There’s nothing quite like painting outside at the cottage while a storm rolls over the lake, and channeling that energy onto the paper.

I’m packing up a whole collection of these moody, vibrant watercolours and heading to Artfest Kingston this weekend (June 26th–28th)! 🎨✨
