These conversations matter, and we’re grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from your team and continue building awareness through the Women of Calian & Supporters ERG.

So grateful to have our team representing TOCF at a recent conversation hosted by Calian's Women of Calian & Supporters ERG, a thoughtful midday discussion on what caregiver support really looks like, why it belongs in the workplace, and how we can all do better by the people carrying that weight every day.

Sue Merrill, Chief Mission Officer, and Angie Poirier, Director of Communications, were joined by Allison Carroll of Spark University in sharing their perspectives, with Lorraine Prezeau, Senior Executive Assistant and Board Liaison, there to support and represent the TOCF team.

As the Paralympics continue in Milan, we’re reflecting on how the spirit of the Winter Games recently inspired our own .

In February while the Winter Olympics were kicking off in Italy, Calian colleagues around the world joined in on the spirit of the Games and participated in a couple of friendly challenges that celebrated wellness, connection and a some friendly competition—true to the energy of the Olympic season!

Our Step Count Challenge brought employees across Calian together, logging more than 4 million steps globally. Regardless of the weather—sunshine, rain or snow—they consistently showed up. Congratulations to “medallists” Whitney Peasley (gold), Kevin Kim (silver), and Val Aleyaseen and Neil Gill (tied for bronze).

From soaring cats to laid-back hockey-fan pups, our inaugural Pet Olympics brought out some truly creative and adorable entries. The challenge sparked plenty of laughs and reminded us that sometimes the best teammates have four legs and a tail.

Whether we’re cheering on elite athletes or celebrating small moments of fun together, it’s the enthusiasm of our people that makes so special!

Over the last 9 months, this incredible group committed more than 150 hours to learning and growing through Harvard-led curriculum, hands-on workshops, and personalized coaching designed at Calian.

And yes, there was fun too. Participants formed 7 Ice Cream Teams 🍦 and pitched creative business ideas to senior leadership, all focused on accelerating growth and fostering innovation across Calian.
