11 years ago today we opened our doors. Though so much time has gone by, we can still remember the panic and excitement of opening night like it was yesterday. Despite the fact that we no longer have the restaurant, September 28th will always be a special anniversary in our hearts ❤️ Thank you to our dear friend Mitch who had this beautiful painting made for us 😘

That’s a wrap Ottawa. Thank you for 11 years ❤️
We’ve spent the last week closing down and clearing out of 268 Preston. It feels weird after spending countless hours in this building, we often spent more time at work then we did at home. We are grateful to have had the chance to talk to Mario Carlucci from CBC/Radio-Canada about shutting the place down, the link for the interview is in our bio.
We would like to thank all of our former and current staff for the last 11 years of hard work. We would also like to thank our families for all of their support, without them our restaurant dream would never have been possible.

The decision to close was not an easy one, and the thought of shutting down a restaurant while it was running was a truly daunting task. Burnout from a hard industry played a large role in our decision. As much as we love what we do, this job takes a toll on your mind and body.
We feel at peace knowing that we were able to open the place and close it on our own terms, and we are both ready for the next chapter. What that next chapter looks like is unkown to us. We don’t have a plan and are both looking forward to a long break.
