Permanent Residents:

2025: Reduced from 500,000 to 395,000 (a net reduction of 105,000)
2026: Further reduced to 380,000
2027: Stabilized at 365,000
Temporary Residents:

2025: Reduction of 445,000
2026: Additional reduction of 445,000
2027: Moderate increase of 17,000
Other Numerical Goals:

Reduce temporary resident population from 7% to 5%
Impact housing supply gap by 670,000 units by the end of 2027
Over 40% of permanent residents will come from existing temporary residents
Increase francophone immigration levels outside Quebec to 6% by 2025 and 10% by 2027

Ottawa, Canada – C’est un honneur pour moi d’être le premier Mauritanien à obtenir un diplôme en Gestion des Dossiers d'Immigration du Département des Études Juridiques Professionnelles du Collège Herzing. Cette réalisation revêt une importance particulière, alors que le collège célèbre ses 59 ans d'excellence dans la capitale nationale.

Mon stage chez GHD Immigration a renforcé mon engagement envers le leadership culturel et la diplomatie publique, me permettant de représenter fièrement la Mauritanie, où que la vie me mène. Ce diplôme témoigne de ma croissance personnelle et de mon dévouement au service de la communauté internationale.

L’apprentissage, dans son essence même, est un voyage sans fin — une passion en constante évolution qui nous pousse chaque jour vers l'excellence et le progrès.

En atteignant ce jalon, je souhaite transmettre un message d’espoir et de persévérance : « Le savoir et la détermination transforment les défis en tremplins vers les plus hauts sommets. »

First Mauritanian Earns Diploma in Immigration Case Management

Ottawa, Canada – I am honoured to be the first Mauritanian to earn a diploma in Immigration Case Management from Herzing College's Department of Professional Legal Studies. This achievement is significant as the college celebrates its 59th year of excellence in the nation's capital.

My internship with GHD Immigration reinforced my dedication to cultural leadership and public diplomacy, allowing me to proudly represent Mauritania, no matter where life takes me. This diploma is a testament to my personal growth and commitment to serving the global community.

Learning, in its truest sense, is a never-ending journey—an ever-evolving passion that drives us toward excellence and progress day after day.

With this milestone, I share a message of hope and perseverance: "Knowledge and determination transform challenges into stepping stones that lead to the highest summits."

تخرج أول موريتاني مختص في إدارة ملفات الهجرة

"أبحر في عوالم المعرفة التي لا تنضب."

أوتاوا-كندا-في إطار تحسين خبرتي وتوسيع مداركي، بعد إكمال تدريبي مع شركة محامي الهجرة "دجي أتش دي" في كندا حصلت كأول موريتاني اليوم على دبلوم "مدير إدارة ملفات الهجرة" من قسم الدراسات القانونية المهنية، باللغة الإنجليزية من كلية "هرزينغ" الأمريكية الكندية، التي تحتفل بذكرى تأسيسها التاسعة والخمسين في العاصمة الكندية.

يعكس هذا الإنجاز التزامي العميق بالقيادة الثقافية والدبلوماسية العامة خدمة وتمثيلا لموريتانيا الحبيبة، الساكنة في قلبي بعدا وقربا.

فما أجمل أن يظل التعلم رحلة لا تنتهي، وشغفًا يتجدد مع كل يوم،
يجسد سعينا الدائم نحو التميز والارتقاء.

عرفته بمساعدتي وزميلي من "نيوز ويك" الأستاذ نيكولا يوم كنت مراسلا لصوت أمريكا
لأخذ موعد مع الرئيس غزواني يوم كان رئيس الأركان للحديث عن التجربة الموريتانية في مكافحة الإرهاب.

تلك قصة أخرى للبوح في أوانه.
