This morning was one I won't forget.

I've been a musician in this city my whole life — and this morning I got to sit in a room with Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and some of Ottawa's most passionate business and community leaders. Not as a musician on a stage, but as someone who has spent over 20 years pouring that same love for music into this city in a different way.

I brought along an old broken guitar. Mayor Sutcliffe became its very first signature — and I hope to keep filling it with the names of the people who have believed in this journey. One day it'll hang on a wall as a quiet little love letter to Ottawa.

This city has always shown up for its artists. Today was just another beautiful reminder of that.

Grateful doesn't even cover it.

Sing House Studios received an invitation alongside about 70 entrepreneurs in Ontario, and I had the chance to share a bit about what our studio is all about.

Moments like this make me reflect on how far this little dream has come. Between being a new mom, music, teaching, and running a studio, the arts and business worlds overlap more than people realize, and I feel lucky to be part of both.
