This year, we skated through frozen forests, greeted the sunrise on snowshoe adventures, and kept warm around campfires. We tiptoed through tulips, swam, canoed, and explored Tofino’s beaches.
We shared stories between the pines, made nature art, and transformed the woods into an outdoor stage with our Wild Script program. Forest bathing with Soul Space, beach clean ups at Petrie Island, and our Writing Wild workshop at the Eastern Ontario Writers' Festival reminded us how powerful nature and community can be.
We chased northern lights, hiked rainforest trails, and watched the sun set over the west coast. It was a wild year of curiosity, creativity, and wonder guided entirely by nature.
Happy New Year, Forest Friends! We look forward to exploring the woods with you in 2026.

Wild Script: Theater in the Woods is a fresh take on our Writing Wild program where nature, creativity, and community come together in a new form.
Just like Writing Wild, we will gather in the forest to explore our imaginations and deepen our connection to the natural world through storytelling.
But this time, we're doing something different.
Together, we will co-create an original play, shaping characters, dialogue, and scenes as a group. Through guided writing sessions, improvisation, and collaborative brainstorming, we will bring a story to life from the forest floor UP!
We will end our last session together with a table read around the campfire, sharing the story we have written with parents/guardians in the same place that inspired it.
Same spirit. New form. One story. Many voices. Rooted in the wild!
