You don’t need more questions.
You need someone who can see the answer.
A coach will help you find it.
But sometimes that leads to overthinking, circling, and staying stuck longer than necessary.
A mentor sees what you need, tells you the truth, whether you like it or not, and helps you collapse time.
That is how I roll.
I do not hand every founder the same strategy and expect it to work.
That is where most programs miss the mark.
Every founder is different.
Different beliefs, patterns, capacity, goals, businesses, and lives they are trying to build.
So I look at the founder specifically.
I identify the hidden patterns holding them back.
I help them see how those patterns are no longer serving them.
Then we build what they actually need.
A business that can scale.
A business that supports their life.
A business that no longer requires them to carry everything alone.
That is how mentorship collapses time.
All you need to do is show up...I got you.
As a real estate investor, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you don’t need to play in every sandbox.
Every property type comes with its own challenges, and last year I quickly realized that development, at least in the City of Ottawa, was not where I wanted to double down.
So instead of moving forward, we decided to cut our losses, cancel 9 months worth of midterm rental bookings and sell....
But between rough timing, road construction, and the condition of the property, selling has not been as viable as we expected.
So, we’re back to the drawing board.
The good news? We are resourceful, we have options, and we have a strong network of professionals helping us move faster and make better decisions.
This is the reality of building an empire. It is not always clean, linear, or pretty, but there is always a lesson.
Follow along if this is useful to you.
“You don’t always have to make the right decision. The important thing is that you make the decision.”
My dad taught me this when I was a child and it has stayed with me ever since.
If you struggle to make decisions, it is often a sign that you do not fully trust yourself yet.
Because once you believe you can handle whatever happens, the pressure to make the “perfect” decision starts to fade.
You make the best decision you can with the information you have.
You move fast enough to gather real data.
Then you either learn, adjust, or move forward.
The confidence does not come from always making the right call.
It comes from knowing you can handle the outcome...so stop hesitating and just make a damn move.
