Ottawa home prices remain stubbornly solid according to the June statistics released by the Ottawa Real Estate Board. The average resale price of a home in Ottawa in June was $733,648, up marginally by 1.3 percent from last year. This is good news for Sellers who, while seeing sales prices remain firm, are realizing that the pace of the market has slowed. The number of sales in June 2026 was down 5 percent from last June, and the Median Days on Market has climbed to an average of 22 days, up from 14 days three years ago. Firming prices, particularly for single-family homes, should encourage more Buyers to get off of the fence and make a move.
