Cue the Ottawa Ankle Rules. Developed by Ottawa-based researcher and emergency physician Dr. Ian Stiell, the Ottawa Ankle Rules are a series of guidelines to indicate whether an x-ray is needed in the case of ankle injuries.

On July 26, CIHR-IA hosted the Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment in Aging (BHCIA) Research Initiative Showcase in Toronto. The event brought together researchers, funding partners, and other key partners in research to celebrate progress, share emerging findings, and celebrate recently funded research.
