What? Another commission? Is it a miracle?

Yes, the backlist is getting smaller and smaller, three more commissions going out next week! Glory days!

This is one of my favorites of the year. I was given two separate commissions: one a Swamp Thing sketch cover and one a Zatanna sketch cover.

On the Zatanna cover, I was supposed to paint Zatanna and Constantine.

On the Swamp Thing cover, a drawing of Swamp Thing.

I began drawing the Zatanna and Constantine on the Swamp Thing cover one drowsy night, and didn't realize until I'd been at it about an hour. I wondered if I'd have to kill the commission.

I contacted the commissioner and asked if I could squeeze Swamp Thing into the picture, and he'd get three characters for the price of one. He gave me an enthusiastic yes!

So this was the result, and boy, was the commissioner happy!

we got music all afternoon.
