What an honour it was to lead this collaborative mural experience for the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario.
This project meant so much to me on a personal level. I come from a proud labour family — my dad served as president of CUPE Local 500, and my mom was the first female vice president of her local with the then CAW. Because of that upbringing, I have been surrounded by the values of solidarity, fairness, and standing up for working people since childhood.
To now combine my career as an artist with a movement that shaped my life was incredibly meaningful. Thank you for trusting me to help bring this vision to life. ✊🎨
