Did you know that changing your liner every 5-7 years will help extend the lifespan of your pool.

Changing your liner will prevent the liner from becoming too brittle that it splits or rips under stress.

Changing the liner will also ensure that you are not closing a pool with an older liner that is slowly leaking from a variety of pinholes. This slow leaking over the winter is one of the main causes of winter damage to approve ground pools in years of extreme freeze and thaw. The water will drain from the pool, creating a void for ice to collapse into, creating further liner or wall damage.

Preventing or repairing rust is also key. If your liner has been leaking for an extended period of time, calcium, rust, or corrosion can build up on the pool's wall. This needs to be sanded down and properly repainted to stop the issue from spreading.

Pre-emptively changing the liner is often a step that is missed by pool owners. Don't just wait until your old liner completely fails or issues snowball. Get ahead of the maintenance required to make sure your pool lasts as long as it should.
