Hi! I’m María💕 The mind and heart behind Steps by Click.

Just a few months ago, I moved to Canada as an international student to start a new chapter in Niagara Falls. I’m currently pursuing my second master’s degree, this time in Digital Media and Global Communications, building on 8+ years of experience as a marketer.

While getting to know this vibrant community, I noticed something that really stuck with me: many small businesses weren’t using Instagram to its full potential. And I get it, marketing can feel overwhelming, expensive, or like there’s just no time to do it all.

But I also knew Instagram had so much more to offer. It’s not just a place to post. It’s a tool to connect, to tell your story, and to reach the people who need what you offer.

That’s why I created Steps by Click, a friendly, easy-to-follow guide built to help local businesses show up online with confidence.

I truly believe digital tools should be accessible, empowering, and made with heart, and that’s exactly what this project is about.
