Last week I had the pleasure and honor to join on a social media panel.

The last event was revolved around saying the wrong thing on social media.

Each panelist shared their experiences and advice revolved around ways to navigate that kind of stress 😨!

Mine were fairly simple:

1. Don’t panic, don’t delete the post, pt attention and plan your next move.

2. Address it in another post. Or in the stories. Be honest about where you fell short or where you’ve been misunderstood.

3. Be accountable: continue to revisit this, and showcase the work that’s being done to resolve the issue.

“What’s your favorite thing about social media?

One of my absolute favourite things about social media is, it allows you to experience so much of the creativity and diversity out there in the world. You get to experience things from others’ perspectives rather than just your own. It is full of individuals with passion and great ideas that get to come to life by the ability to share content so easily.

My favourite thing about boom media/Cass is the authenticity. The energy put out there even on days where it seems almost impossible to grasp, the openness for diversity and the eagerness to continue learning is truly inspiring. Each and every day I feel like I learn something new from both Cass as a friend, and boom media as a business. It is absolutely refreshing to me!”
