Life has been busy in the most beautiful ways since moving to Whistler— a new place to explore, amazing friendships, and a new creative job.

I’ve had the opportunity to capture so many love stories over the past few years (both on the island and beyond) and after a whirlwind of a year, I am realizing how incredibly behind I am on sharing them on social media…

So, excuse me while I share my work from the past several years that have been hiding in camera roll.

Some of these couples said ‘I do’ just last summer & others have already celebrated a year+ of married life. I feel so incredibly honoured to capture these special moments and more honoured to watch their partnership grow all this time after.

What to do if it rains on your wedding day👇🏻

… EMBRACE IT! 🌧️

Seriously, soak up every second of it (no pun intended 😉).

I know every couple is dreaming of sunny, blue skies for their big day but truly — rain or shine — your wedding day will be absolutely magical regardless! And don’t worry about us, as your photographer we’re ready (& down) for everything!

If you’re a Fall bride (or an Island bride in general) you’re probably planning for some drizzle and aside from having a ‘let’s do this’ attitude, here’s what you can do to prepare:

1. Find some cute umbrellas so you don’t have to worry about getting your hair & make up or dress wet. I mean, you are going to get wet but your wedding look will hold up at least until the ceremony. Plus, how freaking cute do umbrellas look!

2. Wear warm leggings under your dress (bridesmaids too). When it rains it can get pretty cold here on the Island. You’ll want to stay as warm as possible throughout the day so you feel comfortable in your photos.

3. Have a back up plan for your ceremony location. Whether that’s renting a tent or having a second covered area, give yourself options just in case.

Cannot wait to capture M + C’s big day tomorrow! ✨

These two cuties actually met in high school and have been together 10 years! 🥹 They are the sweetest, most down-to- earth couple. During their engagement session when I asked if they’d be okay to shoot down in the ferns, they didn’t hesitate for a second. I mean, they both showed up in hiking boots to the shoot.

I’m so excited to be a part of their intimate celebration tomorrow & mark this next chapter in their love story. It’s going to be a beautiful day full of ocean views, lots of sun, and of course, good vibes!

I’m heading up to F***y Bay tomorrow to capture T+S’s special day and I’m so excited!✨

My heart is always so full the night before a wedding.🥹I feel so incredibly lucky to have the absolute sweetest, kindest, and coolest couples who invite me to be a part of their day & trust me to freeze those memories forever.

I can’t wait to capture these two again and document this exciting new chapter they’re about to embark on as husband and wife. Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful celebration of love with T+S’s closest friends and family.
