AYM Dog Training
We (my husband and I) found Darla on the Toronto Animal Services website and were *obviously* pretty smitten with her, so we reached out but there had been so much interest in her they were sure she’d be adopted by the end of the day. They told me that if she *by chance* didn’t get adopted then she would get posted again.
A couple days later and I see that cute little puppy named Stella pop up again, I immediately reach out and they told me that all the potential adopters backed out because she had diarrhea. I told them I was a veterinary technician and wasn’t worried about a little bit of diarrhea since she was negative for Parvovirus.
The next day we were driving down to Toronto Animal Services and the rest is history.
Darla came into our lives very quickly and there were plenty of moments when I regretted bringing her home - the puppy blues are real ya’ll. But everything happens for a reason; she has helped us through loss, she’s made me a better trainer and dog mom, and she brings so much endless joy into our lives. I wouldn’t change our story or her for the world!
