Former math-rock guitarist turned DJ, channels years of raw energy and sonic exploration into his sets.

Through groovy and hard-hitting selections, Ratchet blends Hard Bounce, Hard Techno, and Bouncy Trance into sets that are finely tuned to the moment, delivering an experience that is both euphoric and irresistibly danceable.

His performances are built around sharp, occasion-driven track choices, where every drop feels tailored to the crowd. Inspired by artists such as Eskha, DJ Caline, Ueberrest, and Mosmoz, Ratchet crafts a sound that is energetic, festive, and deeply connected to the dancefloor.

With his sound selection, he’s earned a place on the lineups of respected collectives such as Nightshift, DSTP, Overloud, Down2Techno, and Techno Crudo.

On September 5th, 2025, he released his debut EP Momentum, laying the foundation for his own discographic journey.

He’s releasing his first single on the German label Round165 with Gimme the Funk, showcasing his love for 240 km/h-style Hard Bounce.

Cambodian DJ, music producer, and remixer Vannaroth Samol, also known as Dantronix, was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and is currently based in Montréal, Canada. Emerging from the underground scene, he has become a driving force in the global electronic music industry.

Dantronix is recognized for his high-energy sound and innovative fusion of Techno, Hard Techno, Hard Dance, House & Khmer and Bass. He is the first Cambodian EDM artist to integrate traditional Khmer instruments into modern electronic music, crafting a unique style that has gained significant attention and support from local and international audiences. His signature track, « Khmer Empire, Angkor Rave » became a massive hit, elevating Cambodia’s EDM industry to new heights.

His musical journey began at a young age as a guitar player, later transitioning into DJing and music production. Through years of dedication and passion, he has refined his craft, creating tracks that resonate with listeners worldwide. Dantronix’s mission is to bring unforgettable vibes, connect with fans, and share his sound and spirit across the globe.
