Last week President Denise was on hand to accept a donation from Distinct AI, to fund the Blake Pierce Memorial Trade Scholarship. This scholarship named for Distinct AI Founders Chris and Derek Pierce's father will provide important funds and mentoring for youth going into the trades in Arnprior. Members of the Optimist Club of Arnprior were also in attendance. Thank you to Distinct AI and the Optimist Club of Arnprior

The Fergus-Wellington Optimist Club received a Spread Relief Grant to help Scarlet. Scarlet has Rett Syndrome and the grant will help the family upgrade Scarlet's Communicaton System. Do you have someone in your community who needs support? The next Spread Relief Grant deadline is May 31st.

President Denise received the Key to the City of Burlington from Mayor Marianne Meed Ward. The honours individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the community. It was a great honour to be included among the other amazing recipient

President Denise went to check out the Optimist Club of Orangeville 33rd annual Christmas in the Park. What an amazing free stroll through a Christmas Wonderland with live music and Santa. I highly recommend it!
