Bienvenue dans le monde étrange et envoûtant de Troy Brooks ! Cet artiste canadien basé à Toronto peint des femmes à la fois élégantes que inquiétantes, évoluant dans des univers surréalistes et cinématographiques. 🌙

Leurs silhouettes élancées, leurs regards perçants et leurs attitudes théâtrales semblent tout droit sorties d’un film sombre ou d’un rêve décousu. 💃🏻

Influencé par le glamour hollywoodien vintage 🎥, l’expressionnisme, le surréalisme et la culture q***r 🏳️‍🌈, il crée des icônes féminines fortes, à la fois vulnérables et dominantes.

Dans plusieurs interviews, il a évoqué comment le fait d’avoir grandi en tant qu’enfant q***r dans un environnement conservateur a nourri son imaginaire et son besoin de créer des héroïnes fortes, un peu comme des figures de résistance ou d’émancipation. 💫

Troy Brooks a un univers à part entière, entre la beauté sophistiquée et la bizarrerie. Est-ce que son style te touche, te dérange ou peut-être les deux à la fois ?

Welcome to the strange and mesmerizing world of Troy Brooks ()!
This Canadian artist based in Toronto paints women who are both elegant and unsettling, evolving in surreal and cinematic worlds. 🌙

With their slender figures, piercing gazes, and theatrical postures, they seem to have stepped right out of a dark film or a fragmented dream. 🎭

Influenced by vintage Hollywood glamour 🎬, expressionism, surrealism, and q***r culture 🏳️‍🌈, Brooks creates strong female icons — both vulnerable and dominant.

In several interviews, he explained how growing up as a q***r child in a conservative environment fueled his imagination and his need to create powerful heroines — figures of resistance and emancipation. 🕊️
