In memoriam of Charles Despins

It is with the deepest sorrow that I inform the professional community of the passing of a longtime friend and collaborator, Charles Despins, at Montreal’s CHUM during the night between Thursday and Friday last week.

For the many good friends and colleagues of Charles in Quebec, across Canada, and all abroad willing to send their condolences to his wife and daughter, share memories or testimonies with his family and friends, or attend the funeral ceremony in person or online this Saturday 25 March, please visit the Memorial Website below (content in progress with more updates to come in the next days and hours).

IEEE PIMRC 2017 solicits proposals for tutorials within the technical scope of the conference. Tutorials are an opportunity for researchers from both academia and industry to learn about the state-of-the-art research. Proposals should concisely describe the motivation, the content and the structure of the tutorial. They should cover emerging topics consistent with the goals of IEEE PIMRC and provide clear and focused teaching material within the scope of the conference.
