IVADO

💡 IVADO is proud to support this initiative by the Solar Impulse Foundation, which is calling for clean and efficient data centre solutions.

If you're working on a technology that can help make sustainable data centres a reality - from cooling and energy efficiency to construction, circularity, and grid integration - this is your moment.

They're looking for solutions that are:

→ TRL 6+ (full-scale prototype ready)
→ Quantifiably better for the environment
→ Economically competitive against the status quo

Selected innovators get fast-tracked to the Efficient Solution Label, business matchmaking, visibility within a flagship publication and at high-level events like VivaTech, Climate Weeks and COP, and pitching opportunities with investors.

📅 Applications open until December 11th, 2026

🤝 IVADO and Connected Minds launch the RISE Seed Grant Competition!

As two of Canada's flagship Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) initiatives, IVADO and Connected Minds CFREF are bringing together complementary expertise to support research at the intersection of AI, neuroscience, and society.

The Responsible Intelligence for Society & Ethics (RISE) competition will support innovative projects in two priorities:

🔷 Neuro-AI — at the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence.
🔷 AI Ethics — addressing the ethical, societal, and governance dimensions of AI.

Through this competition, one project in Neuro-AI and one project in AI Ethics will each receive up to $125,000 to advance innovative research while building lasting collaborations across our two networks. Funding will also be provided to one additional project that aligns with either stream and has a substantive focus on Indigenous realities and/or is led or co-led by an Indigenous PI or Co-PI.

Letter of Intent deadline: November 9, 2026
