๐จ Do you know the difference between a hard
reset and a factory reset on iPhone?
Most people don't, and it's caused a lot of
people to accidentally wipe phones they didn't
mean to wipe.
Here's the short version:
๐ Hard reset = 3 button presses, phone reboots,
NO data deleted. Use this when your iPhone's screen is
frozen or it won't respond.
๐ Factory reset = full erase, permanent,
no undo. Use this only when selling, giving away,
or troubleshooting a major software issue.
There are 4 different ways to reset depending
on your situation โ including one that works
without a passcode, and one you can perform
remotely if your phone is lost.

How to Fix the Steam Disk Write Error on Windows 10 and 11
If you're blocked from downloading, installing, or updating games due to a "Disk Write Error," your system is likely encountering an application boundary block. Valve's client requires unhindered write permissions to storage drive, which can easily be revoked by a corrupted download cache or native antivirus parameters.
Before you assume that your hard drive or SSD is physically retired, follow this core diagnostic pipeline to clear the block:
1๏ธโฃ Clear the Cache: Go to Steam > Settings > Downloads and clear the download cache to flush stuck data streams.
2๏ธโฃ Audit Permissions: Right-click your primary Steam folder, open Properties, and clear the 'Read-only' attribute flag.
3๏ธโฃ Repair the Library: Use the 'Repair Folder' utility within Steam Storage settings to re-align security descriptors.

I was horrified when I finally looked at my earbuds under good light ๐ฑ
The mesh grilles were clogged with yellow wax. The silicone tips were discolored and smeared. Inside the charging case, dark gunk covered every contact.
And I'd been putting these into my ears. Every. Single. Day.
Here's what I learned that made me immediately clean them:
๐ฆ A Florida ENT specialist found that headphones harbor 2,708 TIMES more bacteria than the average cutting board. A microbiologist discovered Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas on multiple sets - both can cause infections.
But cleaning them takes just 10 minutes with items you already have at home.
WHAT YOU NEED:
โ 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes
โ Soft-bristle brush (an old toothbrush works perfectly)
โ Cotton swabs
โ Microfiber cloth
โ Mild dish soap and warm water
THE 4-STEP PROCESS:
1๏ธโฃ Remove silicone tips and soak in warm soapy water for 30 minutes. Dry them COMPLETELY before reattaching (wet tips = moisture inside the driver).
2๏ธโฃ Hold the earbud with mesh facing DOWN. Use a soft brush in short strokes to sweep away wax and debris. Gravity does half the work.
3๏ธโฃ Wipe the body with alcohol-free disinfectant wipes. Get into crevices with a dry cotton swab.
4๏ธโฃ Clean the charging case - especially the gold contacts. A little isopropyl alcohol on a swab brings back the shine.
3 MISTAKES THAT WILL DESTROY YOUR EARBUDS:
โ Submerging in water - even "waterproof" earbuds aren't meant for swimming. Moisture gets trapped behind the mesh.
โ Using needles or pins on the mesh - one slip punctures the acoustic membrane permanently.
โ Hairdryer "quick drying" - the heat melts internal adhesives and damages batteries.
Set a reminder to deep clean every 3 months (monthly if you exercise regularly).
Clean earbuds sound better, last longer, and won't make you cringe when someone asks to borrow them.

Is your Mac regularly warning you about low storage? ๐ค
I just recovered 47 GB in under 20 minutes without deleting ANY photos or important files.
Here's what's taking up space (hint: it's not what you think):
โ
Old iPhone backups you forgot about: 10-20 GB
โ
"System Data" cache files: 15-30 GB
โ
Browser junk from every website you've visited: 5-10 GB
โ
App leftovers that survive "delete": 3-8 GB each
The craziest part? macOS has built-in tools to fix all of this. Apple hides them 5 menus deep.
I wrote a detailed guide that walks through every step.
