Happy Halloween!! I am still on mat leave, but wanted to share some exciting news. I plan to offer both virtual and in-person speech therapy in March 2022 from my new home clinic. That’s right! Here is a short but important article (in French) from the Ordre about problems with loi 96. Speech-Language Pathologists need to be able to provide high quality professional services in Quebec, whether the child we are working with speaks English, French or another language. “Inevitably, this would accentuate the gap between supply and demand, which is already very present and would significantly limit access to adapted and quality services for part of the Quebec population.”
