When checking a standard rodent bait station, our team stumbled upon an unexpected infestation: a satellite carpenter ant nest! 🪵👀

Unlike a primary nest, these satellite spots are established to harbor older larvae and pupae in warmer, drier areas. While we didn't find the queen inside this unit, you can bet she’s hidden somewhere nearby, keeping the colony humming! 👑🚪
