Especially when it comes to AHA acids.

While AHAs can be amazing for improving texture, brightness, and cell turnover, using them too often can weaken your skin barrier.

When the barrier becomes compromised, the skin can show signs like:

• redness
• dehydration
• inflammation

Healthy skin isn’t about doing more — it’s about using the right treatments at the right frequency.

After 25+ years in skincare, I always remind my clients that balanced exfoliation supports the skin… it shouldn’t strip it.
