As of Jun 21, 2024 Canada ended post graduation work permit “flagpoling”.
The applications can be made online as usual. The work authorization letters are issued after online application while the work permit application is in process.

IRCC announced new enhanced caregiver pilot programs on June 3, 2024. These pilots programs were announced as the ongoing Home support worker and child care provider pilot programs are about to close. The new programs will provide will home care workers with PR (permanent residency) on arrival in Canada. They will also be eligible to work for Organizations that provide temporary and part time care services. The full program delivery and employer criteria to follow.

Alberta to resume accepting applications under Opportunity stream from June 11, 2024 under the new guidelines.

and program will be randomly send 35700 invitations from previous pool of 2020. No new interest will be taken in 2024.
