I was so pleased and so very honoured to get to bear witness to this beautiful celebration of family and love. To think that this initial spark between these two sweethearts is what created all the people there to celebrate their love and 50 years of marriage. Needless to say I ugly cried my ass off while editing these photos. These are the things people dream about and this lovely set is living it. Cheers to many more anniversaries to come!

Finn was so fun to shoot and I love all the angles and lines to shoot along up at the monastery. What a great kid! I can see why so many people wanted him to win the session. Such a polite and kind young man. Congrats of your graduation Finn! I am sure you are on to great things in your life!

It was so nice to treat this crew to a shoot and by crew I obviously mean the Mama lol. Menfolk love having portraits taken. Such a beautiful family and blue to mach these gorgeous hydrangeas.

So this is happening for the months of July and August! I will be posting Share Contest for both months so there is a session up to win for both! Here is July! I don't know about you guys but with everything that is going on in the world right now I have never been more proud to be a Canadian. We live in the most unbelievably beautiful place with the coolest people. In these Summer Mini Sessions I am offering two options. {One} Take me to your favourite Beautiful British Columbia summer hang and let me capture you and your crew documentary style doing the awesome things that you do. We can include posed images as well but lots of raw authentic who you are as Canadians too. {TWO} Similar to what I have been shooting as of late, park or green space style summer sessions. As we have entered phase three feel free to book with extended family and include the grandparents. People ask me all the time if they need to pay more to include other family members. There is not a weight limit guys, this is a photoshoot not an elevator lol. I love all my photo sessions but I was particularly happy to do this one. This is my Uncle Norm and his ridiculously beautiful power house of a woman Marylin. She is basically everything I intend my future self to be. She also has three children, two girls and a boy, the same as me and seeing them all together with their grandchildren is like taking a possible peek into what I am hoping is my glorious future as a mother and grandmother. They are so fun and you can just feel how much they enjoy each other's company. Marylin is an avid kayaker, hiker and adventurous fearless traveller and her and my uncle Norm have such a beautiful life together. The team these two are is basically Jeff and my life goals. Just living the hell out of the length and the width of their lives. You guys are awesome.

Newly located grove of big blue hydrangeas are just killing me right now. This crew was dressed for them and didn't even know it. This gorgeous family braved the enormous Mission mosquito thugs with me to get some dreamy golden light and I think it was worth every bite. Give them some love!
