I always have to feel like i’m the hardest worker in the room. Whether it’s true or not, it’s a mindset that pushes me to be better. ⁣

& when I’m not, I draw inspiration from those around me.⁣
This was one of those times👆🏽⁣

I’m blown away by how hard this kid works sometimes. He’s spent 15 hours on the ice in the past 6 days and each hour was a grind - at some points even facing the top competition for his age group.⁣

Yes he complained when he was in pain. ⁣
Yes he looked sluggish at times. ⁣
Yes he got cranky when he was tired.⁣
⁣
But he never quit. He never stopped working hard.⁣
⁣
His mental toughness is beyond his years. ⁣
