I can say without a doubt, that was THE best Haskap season yet! We’re so thankful for all the new faces who came out to discover these special little berries, and for all of our returning pickers who make this season something we look forward to every year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who filled baskets, emptied the table, filled the table, laughed at the butt berries, and made this Haskap season one to remember. With that, our Haskap you-pick is officially done for the season.

It’ll be a little quieter around the shack this week. We’ll still have eggs, the occasional fresh basket if we’re lucky, and plenty of frozen Haskaps ready for your smoothies, baking, and snacking. We will post to our stories if there are any fresh berries available, and it will be first come, first served.

But don’t get too comfortable without us...The blueberries are busy ripening, and they’ll be stealing the spotlight. 🫐

With a lot of new people here, I’ve been asked to reintroduce this guy here, affectionately known as a Butt Berry.

Did you know a haskap berry is actually two berries fused together? Most of the time, they join together perfectly. But every once in a while, you’ll find one of these in your basket. Same great taste. Same juicy berry. Just a little extra cheeky.

With the heat this week, haskaps won’t be around much longer - so don’t wait to get out and pick!
