I genuinely don’t even know what words to use. Papa you were the only grandparent I got to meet.

Life gave us a late start to have a relationship, in 2021 mum found you with DNA and reached out almost as many ways as possible, you took us all in with open arms excited for not only another daughter; but 4 grandkids, a whole bunch of great grandchildren, and one great great grand baby.

I will forever cherish the day we met. We met up on the side of the road to collect your spit in a little jar ! You were so sure i was your grand baby before the test was even back.

I wish I called you when you asked about me so much, I wish I didn’t get so busy and got to go up and see you more often, I wish I got to bug you more often, I wish we didn’t have to wait a lifetime to meet.

You suffered so much pain and agony within the last few years of your life and still managed to keep collecting minos and keep up to date with everyone in your little town. Nothing slows you down 🫶

We waited a lifetime to meet, I’ll wait another one to meet again Papa❤️ Rest In Peace
