🌺 IT IS MASTERS WEEK!!! 🌺

If you’re like me you’ve often wondered how hard Augusta National is to the average Joe.

Well, we’ll never know because none of us will ever be the 1% of the 1% of the 1% that get to play there.

BUT you can play it on sim and make the settings difficult to get an idea like I just did.

What did I learn as a 6hdcp?

It’s loooooong.

Thank goodness there were no patrons.

The altitude difference = about 1 club

The greens are insane. You will 4 putt.

Need to get lucky. Which I did a lot.

Need to make putts because getting it close is incredibly hard.

There are no flat lies.

Where you hit is is never where it ends up.

The elevation changes on shots is always just enough to make you think.

The wind is a menace even at just 7-10mph.

Overall, I shot 87 and that’s the absolute best I could have shot. Likely couldn’t match that if I tried 10 more time.

Despite 3/18 GIRs and 5/14 FWs hit I actually struck the ball extremely well.

115ft of putts made with 2ft gimmes is possibly the best round of putting I’ve had on sim all year.

Too close to call for the Men and looks like early 2000s Tiger era in the Ladies where everyone is playing for 2nd.
