The Position: We are looking for both part-time and full-time Landscape Maintenance Crew Members and Landscape Laborers’. The pay range we are offering is $17.00 to $22.00 an hour based on experience and position.

· Note: Snowplow removal work is available to those wanting employment over the winter months.

Requirements:

· A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

· Able to perform the physical aspects of the position.

· Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff and clients.

· Co-operate with staff on health and safety matters.

· Reliable, consistent, and punctual.

· Attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

· Maintaining Commercial and/or Residential landscapes such as lawns and gardens.

· Modifying the terrain of a property in several ways (i.e., laying mulch, sod, etc.).

· Safely operate all vehicles and equipment (if applicable) including: 21” and 36” mowers, power hedge shears, trimmers, backpack blowers, and aerators; in accordance with Husky Landscaping Services “Safety Policies”.

· Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, w**ding, shearing, edging, hand pruning, hedge pruning, fertilizing, and aerating.

· Planting of trees, flowers, shrubs, and other landscape materials.

· Working efficiently and safely alongside fellow crew members.

· Effectively following instruction from crew leaders.

· Basic understanding of plant and w**d identification.

· Basic skills in shaping and pruning shrubs and hedges.

· Always abide by Husky Landscaping Services “Code of Conduct”.

Individuals with previous experience in landscaping, and a valid driver’s license will be given first consideration.

The Location: Husky Landscaping’s clientele base is in North York and the Markham areas. Both are great places to live because of the easy access to the downtown core and surrounding municipalities, proximity to public transportation, great schools, restaurants, and entertainment.

The Position: We’re looking for a Landscape Lead Hand. The pay range we’re offering is $22.00 to $28.00. Candidates considering a position with pay at the higher end of the pay scale must have a minimum of 5 years experience and a well rounded skillset in all aspects of property maintenance.

· Minimum 3 years of landscaping experience.

· Clean G drivers license.

· Attention to detail.

· A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

· Able to perform the physical aspects of the position.

· Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff and clients.

· Co-operate with staff on health and safety matters.

· Enjoy working outside for extended periods of time.

· Reliable, consistent and punctual.

In charge of effectively and professionally leading a maintenance crew to do the following:
