Attempting GINGA Ball Mastery techniques 🇯🇵📈
I don’t know enough about this style, but I’ve been seeing this everywhere on social media and wanted to try. What I understand is that the goal is not “flash”, but its combining rhythm, coordination, and mobility with patterned repetition. What I enjoy particularly about Ginga style is that it really forces you to be smooth and relaxed while using different parts of your foot and moving them in novel ways.

Shielding Tips:
✅Keep your hips low —> for solid balanced base
✅Stay on a side profile —> create distance between ball and defender
✅Keep forearm out
✅Do NOT lean too hard —> good players will pull you off balance
✅Be able to manipulate the ball in tight spaces in case you get pushed and need to readjust shielding base

Important to round your run before you make contact to approach with your hips facing away. This allows a more relaxed finish with the option to curl far post or sneakily finish near post👍
