Payroll & Accounting Administrator | Surrey, BC | Salary to $85,000
A growing organization in Surrey, BC is hiring a Payroll & Accounting Administrator to run full-cycle payroll and support onboarding/benefits administration, WorkSafeBC reporting, AR, and month-end tasks. This is a great role for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable handling confidential information.
What you’ll do:
Run full-cycle payroll in Payworks (verification, remittances, ROEs, year-end support);
Support onboarding setup and maintain employee records and documentation;
Administer benefits enrollment and reconcile monthly billings;
Complete WorkSafeBC quarterly/annual reporting and support claims/RTW documentation;
Manage AR activities and record transactions in QuickBooks;
Support month-end: reconciliations, payroll entries/accruals, and GST filings.
What you bring:
P*P designation (or actively completing it);
3+ years in payroll or accounting administration;
Strong Excel and reconciliation skills;
High attention to detail, discretion, and reliability.
Assets (not mandatory, but good to have):
Smartsheet, construction/multi-division experience;
WorkSafeBC + benefits administration experience;
GST filings and month-end close familiarity.
What’s offered:
$70,000–$85,000 (commensurate with experience);
