I just completed all 9 elements of the Pewter Exam! I achieved “world class” levels on 2 elements and “competitive level” on the remaining 7 (mix of 3 and 4). I’m so proud of this achievement — 10 months of work in the making. A big thank you to my coaches and cheerleaders at I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for hosting patch sessions. They were exactly what I needed. But most of all, it’s a great feeling passing this exam and coming to the conclusion that I’ve found my place on the ice again — I’m a skating artist.

The corner of each page in my Heart Centered Planner has a beautiful word to contemplate. I cut off those corners so I can quickly find my place in the planner. But then what? I like to leave them for loved ones to find. In a lunch bag. A paintbrush kit. A coat pocket. Because of this, these little bits of paper are now called “love confetti” in my house.
