Another deficiency identified at a McDonald’s location today.

After inspection, we determined that new access will be required above the drop ceiling, along with a custom 24”x24” support structure, to properly access the ductwork moving forward.

A quote is now being prepared for the corrective work.

Under NFPA 96 fire code, the entire system — hood, ducts, and exhaust fan — must be cleaned to bare metal. On top of that, the exhaust fan wiring observed is unsafe and will need to be properly repaired to meet code and ensure safe operation ⚡
