The Maple Ridge Lions Club was proud to present a $5,000 donation to Friends In Need Food Bank.

Over the past several years, the demand on food banks has increased dramatically. More families, seniors, and individuals are turning to organizations like Friends In Need for support, making community partnerships more important than ever.

One of the biggest ways our club is able to give back is through our weekly Meat Draws at The Reach Pub. Every Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, community members come together for a little fun, a chance to win, and most importantly, an opportunity to support local causes. The proceeds from these events help us reinvest directly into our community through donations, programs, and support for organizations like Friends In Need Food Bank.

This $5,000 donation is more than a cheque. It represents every ticket purchased, every volunteer hour given, every community member who stopped by to support a Meat Draw, and every person who believes in helping their neighbours when they need it most.

Thank you to Friends In Need Food Bank for the incredible work you do each day, and thank you to everyone who supports the Maple Ridge Lions Club throughout the year.
