The National Pensioners Federation is calling for immediate action to improve the lives of older Canadians, especially women. Key recommendations include supporting a UN Convention on the Rights of Older Persons, appointing a Federal Minister for Seniors, establishing independent Seniors' Advocates across Canada, and reviewing seniors' income supports to ensure they reflect today's cost of living. It's time for policies that help all Canadians age with dignity.

Together, we’re helping seniors remain safely at home, reducing pressure on hospitals, supporting family caregivers, and preventing unnecessary moves into institutions.
