We are looking for a junior lawyer to join our practice in Maple Ridge. We are an established firm of five lawyers offering a collegial atmosphere and a large client base. We require a lawyer able to take on family files and other general litigation matters with moderate supervision, and who will also be able to pitch in with real estate and other general practice files as needed. The ideal candidate will have two to five years’ experience and a willingness to be involved in the community and to grow a practice of her or his own.

We are looking for a candidate who brings solid references showing the ability to work well with staff and to meet client expectations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. A familiarity with word processing and legal software is also a plus. Our support staff are excellent but are working to capacity and our new associate will need to be self-reliant at times.

Compensation is commensurate with experience, and will be based in part on a share of receipts generated. As well, we provide under cover parking , paid holidays and sick leave, and extended medical coverage after 3 months.
