Welcome May 2026 babies!

We wanted to post a reminder to our clients about what to do during the current rotating diversions for the Maternity Ward at RMH. As always please page us if you are in labor or for any other urgent medical concerns. This does not change during diversion dates, the on call midwife will call you back and discuss the next steps. Diversion procedures and dates will be discussed during prenatal appointments with those in late pregnancy.

We would like to introduce you to Hannah. She is a 3rd year midwifery student who starts with us this month. Transitions Midwifery is committed to providing clinical placements to Midwifery Students from UBC. Our experience has been that the enthusiasm of these students improves quality and your care as well as providing for the future supply of midwives.
