I’ve been walking along this spiritual path for the past 6 years, awakening suddenly after the birth of my daughter - at that moment coming into realization that our whole lives we have been conditioned to believe in certain ways, but in fact that conditioning has been passed down from generation to generation. And now, as I walk along this new path I find myself unlearning and relearning what is right. It takes time and patience to relearn what we know is true in our hearts and we meet others in the path who guide us to find our true knowing. I saw this illustration today And it reminded me of my path and of all those whom have helped me find my way. Filled with so much gratitude 🙏🏼 thank you to each of you for your knowledge, love acceptance and guidance for walking with me to find the true me: OI will continue to walk this path and am excited for all that is waiting for me and of course all of you.

What is Ayurveda you might ask?
Well I stumbled upon this way of life on the quest to heal my digestion /lymphatic system issues which have both progressed drastically over the past few years…on such quest I found something new to embark on, this is going to be amazing ✨
In Sanskrit AYUR means LIFE and VEDA means KNOWLEDGE.
The practice of Ayurveda looks at treating the whole body as one system by maintaining balance of all elements within the body as well as the mind.
In Ayurveda, the body is regarded as a temple (as it should), and the head is considered the altar of the temple. Once the mind relaxes into a state of ease, then the body can also follow - The body and mind are connected as one.
When I think about it, I like to visualize the body like a tree that is upside down - the root endings are found at our head and they each travel down to various parts in our body.
