Spray Tan Development: What to Expect ✨

I recently had a spray tan, and I needed to remind myself about the progression of spray tan development.

One of the most common questions we hear at Sun Seekers is:

“Why does my tan look different after I rinse?”

The answer is simple your spray tan is still developing.

Here’s what happens:

☀️ Immediately After Your Spray Tan
You’ll notice an instant bronzed glow from the cosmetic bronzer. This is not your final colour.

💧 After Your First Rinse
Once you complete your warm water rinse, some of the bronzer will wash away and your tan may appear lighter. Don’t panic this is completely normal.

⏰ 6–8 Hours Later
The tanning solution continues to react with your skin and develop into your custom glow.
