While exercise has been shown to be safe and effective for people with scoliosis, it’s important to speak with a therapist who specializes in scoliosis care before beginning an exercise program. There are a wide range of targeted scoliosis exercise programs, and the program your therapist recommends will be specific to your unique needs.

I am trained in Schroth Method, SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Sciliosis) and Scoli-Care mirror image exercise and traction. Through an assessment of posture and X-rays I can provide a unique combination of the three principle exercise methods that will be tailor fit to your specific curve and posture.

Exercise is beneficial for scoliosis patients when used alone or in combination with other treatments, such as bracing. Exercise can help build and maintain core strength to support the spine and prevent further degeneration. Mirror image exercise and stretch can even help reduce curves and pain.
