π Summer Camps spotlight: Imaginative Play (ages 5β8)
A week of storytelling, movement, music, and interactive games designed to spark creativity and connection.
Children work together through collaborative play while building confidence, communication skills, empathy, and teamwork in a safe, supportive environment. Activities are inclusive and meet children where theyβre at, encouraging self-expression and positive social interaction.
Families are invited to a showcase during the final session.

Arts On Summer Camps run July 6 β August 28 at Riverside Centre for a range of elementary-aged groups, with many creative options available each week.
Here are two featured camps for ages 5β8:
π Imaginative Play (5β8Y)
A collaborative camp focused on storytelling, movement, music, and interactive games. Children build teamwork, confidence, empathy, and communication skills in a safe, supportive environment. Activities are inclusive and adapted to each childβs comfort level. Families are invited to a showcase at the final session.
π¨ Creative Arts (5β8Y)
Children explore drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture while developing imagination and personal expression. Each day features a new hands-on project in a different medium, with artwork to take home. All materials provided.

If your organization has an artistic project or activity that benefits the community, Arts Partner Grants can help support future initiatives in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
Funding is available to registered charities with CRA charitable status and is intended for upcoming projects onlyβnot past work or general operating costs.

π Summer Camp Volunteers Wanted
Arts On is looking for youth and adult volunteers to help support our summer art camps for elementary-aged children.
Volunteers work alongside teaching artists in busy, creative week-long camps, helping with activities, organization, and creating a positive experience for campers.
Itβs a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a collaborative arts environment this summer.
