London Yarns

Today's FO comes from our own Heather! This beautiful triangular shawl is knit with Yarnster (Urth Yarns) Unique DK (only 1 skein) in the colourway of Harmony along with 3 balls of Estelle's Superwash Merino yarn. In Heather's words "I liked the look of the Grid Gambit Cowl, but I wanted to use the whole skein of the Uneek yarn and the cowl would have used only half of it. So I altered the pattern to make it into a triangular shawl, by increasing along one side only, knitting as far as I could completing the grid pattern and then finished the final edge with a two colour i-cord bind off. Blocking helped to increase the shawl's size, and it is a good size now. Way to go Heather! The yarn is arriving this week into the store so, win-win!!!
