GelMoment's Training Specialist, Karen Clark, has been battling a serious form of brain cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme, for the last year and is currently facing surgery to remove a second tumor. Brain cancer is the #1 cause of death by cancer in children under 20, recently surpassing those from leukemia.
To date, no clear cause has been established, nor has a cure been found for any type of brain cancer.
There are over 120 different types of brain tumours making effective treatment very complicated.

One of the best treatments for this disease is a positive attitude! Despite grim statistics (the average prognosis is less than 1 year), Karen attributes being part of the GelMoment team, (and having beautiful nails to look at each day despite her treatments!), as one of the "home remedies" that gets her through each day.
